There a number of ways to get involved with Rebuilding Together Oakland (RTO):

Volunteer
Become an RTO volunteer, whatever your skill level or interest!

All of our home renovation and community facility projects rely 100% on volunteer labor.  We need tradespersons for special projects, and skilled volunteers for carpentry, plumbing, electrical, flooring, etc.; and unskilled volunteers for painting, clean-up, landscaping, etc. There is an opportunity to learn new skills also. 

Also, consider becoming a Team Leader that manages one of our projects, or helping out with other roles.  Additionally, there is a need for year-round support in office, warehouse, or other areas.  And finally, consider joining a committee if you have skills and interest in a particular area.

Sponsor a Project
Have your company or community organization sponsor a home or community facility project.  These are great team building and leadership opportunities and demonstrate your commitment to the Oakland community.  

 

Donate
Please donate dollars, your old car, and materials to RTO. You can donate financially by mail, or on-line. For every dollar donated, RTO provides $3 dollars of project value to the community (because of generous time and in-kind contributions made to RTO).
