SPONSOR A PROJECT

Rebuilding Together Oakland's success is dependent upon volunteers, donors, and sponsors that adopt a rebuilding project, renovating the home of a low-income elderly or disabled person or community center in Oakland.

Sponsoring a project has a number of benefits for your company or organization:

  • Immediate positive impact on the life of a low-income elderly or disabled homeowner
  • Great team-building and community leadership opportunity for your employees
  • Demonstrating your organization’s commitment to community service in Oakland
  • Favorable publicity through media, press releases, articles, photos, signage, etc.
  • Preserving and improving Oakland’s aging housing stock and community centers
  • Alliance with respected Rebuilding Together organization (255 affiliates nationwide)
  • Leveraged investment with every dollar resulting in at least three dollars of repairs through volunteer labor and in-kind donations

Please consider sponsoring a home or facilty renovation project.  If an entire sponsorship is difficult for your organization, consider co-sponsoring a project with a business or community partner.  It is a great way to build and deepen relationships, as well as do something wonderful for the community.  Also, please call RTO to find out about our nonprofit sponsorship rates if they apply to your organization.
