Rebuilding Together Oakland serves low-income homeowners and community facilities in Oakland.

How does the program work?

Rebuilding Together Oakland conducts two annual rebuilding programs.  Each project is unique and funding is determined by the amount of work needed: light ($), medium ($$) or heavy ($$$).

How much time does a sponsor commit?

Sponsors donate both funding (or significant in-kind support) and volunteers to a project. With guidance from Rebuilding Together Oakland, sponsors determine the scope of the project.  Thus your time commitment can be one or more workdays for the volunteer team, and four or more hours of planning for the project team leader(s).  Project team leaders manage project logistics and recruiting company volunteers for your project.
