All large scale home repair work is done in the month of April each year. Applications are accepted year-round to be considered for repairs. The next opportunity for large scale home repair work is in April 2020.

If you believe you or someone you know is eligible for our program, we encourage you to download and complete the application. It is important that you complete the entire application and attach the requested documents prior to mailing it to our office.

- Own or rent and live in your house (having a mortgage is okay)
- If you rent you must have written consent from your Landlord
- Live in the City of Oakland, Hayward, San Leandro, or other area in Alameda County
- Be low-income according to HUD guidelines *See the chart below*
- Be at least 62 OR disabled OR a grandparent raising grandchildren OR a caregiver of a disabled or chronically ill family member OR a veteran
- Be up to date with your mortgage and property taxes
- We encourage you to have all able-bodied family members and friends work alongside our volunteers if your home is selected.
- We cannot guarantee that all repairs requested will be addressed; we will do all that we can given the funds, materials, and skills of our volunteers.
