Keep Oakland Covered is the name of the Rebuilding Together Oakland | East Bay roof repair campaign launched October 8, 2020 at our Gather Together 2020 online event.
Your support will help to fund roof repairs and transform unsafe living conditions for low-income seniors, veterans and disabled individuals who need our help.
As of today, we have a list of more than 40 people unprotected and in need of help with roof repairs. Please help us meet this urgent need in our community. The average cost of a roof repair is $7,500.
A profound thank you to the donors and sponsors who helped us kick off our Keep Oakland Covered campaign and collectively raised $27,526 dollars toward our Campaign Goal of $100,000.

For those of you unable to attend our Gather Together 2020 online event and hear our conversation with Richard Rothstein, author of the Color of Law: Our Forgotten History of How Our Government Segregated America, the event video will be posted here beginning October 26, 2020.
Thank you to all who joined us for Gather Together 2020 online, our neighbors, Treva Reid from PG&E, and Lynette Gibson McElhaney, Councilmember District 3, City of Oakland.
A special thank you to Richard Rothstein for sharing his time with us. We are so grateful that you are part of our Rebuilding Together Oakland | East Bay family. Your book illuminates the shadows so we can all remember our national housing history and how it informs the choices we make for our collective future. You can still hear our conversation with Richard Rothstein. The event video will be posted here beginning October 26, 2020.
Our partners at Renewal by Andersen are the recipients of our 2020 Champion Award. The commitment they have to improving the lives of neighbors with Rebuilding Together Oakland | East Bay is embedded in every aspect of their organization.

Every $5,000 gets us closer to a roof repair. Help us reach $100,000 and fix the roofs of our neighbors in need.
